THE AZA LEGACY

Rooted in Heritage. Driven by Purpose.

Rooted in our Colombian heritage, AZA honors our grandparents, who left their farm due to violence to pursue opportunity in the city, and our founder, who carried that same spirit to the United States. Though far from the land, their hearts remained connected to it. Their legacy drives our commitment to protecting nature, creating opportunity, and strengthening coastal security and resilience across the Americas.

Maritime Opportunities

Advancing Responsible Maritime Development

U.S. Maritime Industrial Capacity: Connecting U.S. priorities with regional capabilities

AZA explores strategic connections between U.S. industrial priorities and potential partners across Colombia, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Our focus includes vessel construction and repair, marine equipment and supply chains, waterfront industrial sites, workforce development, vessel technology, and cross-border partnerships that strengthen maritime capacity and resilience.

We identify potential capabilities and opportunities for further evaluation, subject to independent due diligence and applicable procurement, security, export control, and regulatory requirements.

Fishing Vessels & Food Security: Stronger fleets and more resilient seafood supply chains

Fishing vessels and seafood infrastructure support food security, employment, trade, and coastal economies.

AZA identifies opportunities in vessel construction, fleet modernization, seafood logistics, and responsible fisheries management.

Our focus includes vessel repair, cold-chain infrastructure, seafood traceability, sustainable harvesting, and partnerships that strengthen coastal communities and protect ecosystems.

Industrial Sites & Coastal Infrastructure: Identifying locations with potential for maritime development

AZA identifies and organizes information on coastal and port-adjacent properties with potential for maritime manufacturing, ship repair, logistics, and industrial development.

Preliminary screening considers waterfront access, zoning, infrastructure, utilities, environmental conditions, workforce availability, permitting, and investment readiness.

All sites require independent professional due diligence before investment or development.

Maritime Decarbonization & Tech: Modernization with environmental responsibility

Maritime development must balance operational efficiency, environmental performance, and long-term infrastructure needs.

AZA identifies potential technologies and projects focused on vessel efficiency, emissions reduction, port electrification, alternative fuels, digital monitoring, predictive maintenance, and pollution prevention.

All proposals are evaluated for performance, lifecycle impacts, cost, safety, infrastructure readiness, and regulatory compliance.

Coastal Conservation & Responsible Investment: Protecting the natural heritage that sustains coastal economies

Coastal ecosystems sustain fisheries, tourism, livelihoods, biodiversity, and regional resilience.

AZA connects potential projects and partners focused on habitat restoration, sustainable fisheries, pollution prevention, responsible infrastructure, conservation financing, and community development.

Environmental responsibility begins at project planning, supported by evidence-based conservation and measurable outcomes.
